The Wilderness

Every year, we gather around the Stone of the Frost
To seek the advice of Darkness
We circle the Stone, we round it and howl for it
And ask for the aid of Darkness
And that year, as we thrive through the frozen woods
As we hide and we wait for the Melting Moods
We will wait inside the Darkness

The Darkness is mother of all of us
We will wait inside her mouth
The shadows are siblings that hunt with us
And we will fight by their side

When it melts, we climb the branches of the Tree of the Song
To seek the comfort of Bluesky
We sing and we silence, we dance and stay still
And pray for our guide in Bluesky
And he comes with the spirit that fills us all
With his light as he fruitfies us all
And that year as we hunt through the chirping woods
As we run and forget of the Freezing Moods
We will run underneath the Bluesky

The Bluesky is father of all of us
We will run underneath his eyes
The shadows are siblings that hunt with us
And we will fight by their side

Every year, be it spring of fall, we know
Of our siblings of no eyes and no mouth
Though they can't eat with us when we take the kill
Though they can't see the rivers and birds that chrill
Still we will fight by their side

For our siblings, they live on the earth we step
The earth, she carries us all
And our siblings, they live on the trees we climb
The trees, they hide us from all
And our siblings, they live on the rivers springs
And they live on the animals out and in
And they live in the Darkness and under Bluesky
And they live in all that has life
And we fight by the side of life
